Can you believe it? I am hosted by MediaTemple, I use Thesis as my default theme and 15 minutes ago my database disappeared. Fortunately, I made a backup 10 hours ago, so I have lost only 6 comments or so. I feel very disappointed with this kind of things, and I completely agree with James: it's the second time that I have a problem with my host in a month.

Unfortunately, that kind of stuff seems to happen with MediaTemple or other budget hosts - I hosted some personal sites there for a while some year or so back and had outages they denied. Then again, I've had the same experience with other web hosts around that price range. However, MediaTemple is charging $20 for a service that performs like a $10 in my opinion.
